REACH: We take over the responsibility

No data - no market

The new European chemicals legislation is an incredible challenge for the industry. REACH stands for the registration, evaluation and authorisation of substances. Failure to conduct business in accordance with the law may jeopardize the continued existence of the company. If, for example, companies do not meet deadlines or if substances are not registered, this can lead to a production or import ban.

REACH representative

On the one hand, REACH provides for the possibility of helping foreign manufacturers or formulators with their REACH registration obligations (Article 8 Only representative) and, on the other hand, allows the possibility for manufacturers and importers to protect the confidentiality of their supply chain (Article 4 Third party representatives). Furthermore, it is common practice for importers or other parties subject to the REACH registration requirements to appoint advisers who are aware of your obligations under REACH. Of course, the client remains fully responsible within the meaning of the Regulation.

Experience builds confidence

Our experience with REACH dates back to 2003

After the publication of the White Paper, within the framework of his cooperation with TechniData (today SAP), Dr Torges intensively researched the topic of REACH. Above all, he extensively evaluated the processes.

Since 2006, we have prepared many companies for REACH, we have contributed in workshops to practical solutions and we have performed more than 3000 pre-registrations for our customers. In 2010, we conducted a variety of registrations on behalf of the lead registrant. In doing so, we took over all the tasks from SIEF facilitator to SIEF manager, from dossier compilation to risk assessment. We have performed approximately 100 registrations as co-registrant and have assumed the role of SIEF manager in some SIEFs.

In recent years we have updated many dossiers and represented our customers in the course of the dossier and substance evaluation within the various working groups and before the European (ECHA) and national authorities. Our customers receive all REACH services from a single source. We either perform the work ourselves or coordinate the tasks of the external service providers.
